Professor Robert H. Farquharson, founding editor of Seminar

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Professor Robert (Bob) H. Farquharson. Bob was one of the founding members of the CAUTG and the founding editor of Seminar: A Journal of Germanic Studies. He also served as Chair of the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures at the University of Toronto. Bob will be remembered as a wonderful colleague full of warmth and humour and as a great champion of German Studies in Canada. A virtual memorial service will be held on April 24.
