Update: CAUTG Annual Meeting

Our Annual Meeting starting May 30 is coming closer. It will be exciting to have our first virtual annual CAUTG-APAUC  conference. Belinda and I as CAUTG-APAUC co-program chairs, wanted to share with you the most recent updated program, see attachment, which also includes the graduate student posters that will be ‘presented’ in our poster hall (please make sure to visit these posters during the conference).

We would like to highlight that if you would like to present a new book or publication announcement, a new pedagogical initiative, travel course, major research project or anything else newsworthy, we will run a promotional slideshow @ our conference greeting table [which is accessible to all Congress participants]. Please email a PDF file (preferably one page in landscape; but other format such word or image files work as well) to our local coordinator Simone Pfleger @ pfleger[at]ualberta.ca  by Thursday, May 20. Please note that you do not have to participate in the conference to make such a promotional announcement in the slideshow, which hopefully will mirror the variety of our discipline and current projects. For any questions, please contact Simone directly.

For the once of you who have not registered, there is still time and Congress rates this year are considerably cheaper than at regular in person meetings. To register go to https://congress2021.ca/registration. The Congress platform is expected to open for exploration approx. May 25, 2021.

Don’t hesitate to send me and/or Belinda an email if you have any questions. We are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible virtually in Edmonton / @ the CAUTG/APAUC meeting.
